Community policing

Community policing has become the cornerstone of some modern policing.  This policing model requires the development of policies and practices, including strategic planning to support the model, as well as programme implementation and evaluation.  Topics addressed may include the establishment of community resources; consultative committees; key indicator networks; stakeholder identification and engagement, and collaborative strategies for community engagement.
