When the problem has been identified, then analysis of current state processes and conducting activity-based costing will help you prepare a a robust business case.

Cost benefit analysis is a critical skill for managing risk. Understanding the three critical areas of successful organizational change – people, processes and technology will be discussed. The objective of the business analysis programme is to prepare you with tools and techniques to run your organization using the business analysis approach: namely define the problem; determine the need, and consider all impacted stakeholders. The programme will expose you to techniques in elicitation; analysis using diagramming and modelling; and writing effective specifications to describe what the organization requires in order to solve the problem.
